Fantastic place right on the beach on the North side of Agonda. Chilled and tranquil vibes all around this place. It's nice to get a beer here and enjoy the sunset. The staff are super friendly and Vinod the boss always greats you with a smile. I visited here the last two years and hopefully I will be coming back this season. Five Stars !

Sonho do Mar located at Agonda beach is truly a wonderful place to stay, eat and enjoy the beautiful Agonda Beach. The resort has a beautiful location, in front of the sea and views from cottages located in front of the sea are awesome. There are about two rooms on the ground floor and about four to five rooms on the first floor which are located opposite to the beach and mere watching the sea front from balcony is very pleasing. There are about sixteen to seventeen cottages located at the resort and the greenery is well maintained with beautiful palm/ coconut trees. The restaurant here provides all three meals and bar is adequately equipped. The menu caters for all types of tastes including continental, Chinese etc. the dishes are prepared very well and one can have multiple options to choose. Non vegetarian food is very delicious and tasty. Sea food has wonderful variety with fish, prawns, crabs, lobster etc available. Breakfast options are great and off ourse tea/ coffee is available round the clock. Cocktails preparation is great and one choose multiple options. All types of Wines, bear and other drinks are available. Only issue is waiter service which doesn't have desired sophistication to cater for high value clients. Probably this is due to part time staff. There is a need to augment crockery and cutlery. The power supply has been an issue. The fluctuations due to change over from mains to DG sets are very frequent. This issue also needs to be resolved. Along with power supply the water supply gets disrupted which does irritates. Parking space is limited but adequate. Room service is good. Maintenance of rooms and housekeeping staff is good. One common issue which I thought amongst all resorts at Angoda beach was focus on fire safety. Although this topic was not given attention by us however there is feeling that fire safety needs to be given due care. Overall the management was receptive and very supportive. The suggestions were well received by the management. We had a wonderful time at the resort. With few issues resolved the stay can still be more wonderful.

Stumbled upon this place after checking out of a disappointing room at another property. Yadav and Rajesh arranged a room for us last minute during a busy weekend and were so kind and helpful we ended up staying longer than intended. The rooms are great, spacious and comfortable, the shower is fantastic, the restaurant is cozy and has a great view. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend the place and will definitely be back.

I was in Agonda last week and stayed here. The stay was good. All the staffs were friendly. The only negative thing was related to power cut and the speed of the Fan. One day for around 2 hours, light was not there where other coottages had power. That was a bit disappointing. Other things was good in terms of location, room and all. Overall I recommend this place for stay. Thank You!

I had a very pleasant stay here. I had to make a last minute booking as I had a pet and the hotel I had booked into was not happy with pets. So the best thing was this place is pet friendly. Mr. Rajesh who booked my room and Mr. Binod who manages the restaurant side were both very helpful and the entire staff is friendly and attentive. The location is excellent as the resort is right on the beach and it's very relaxing to just chill out at the restaurant facing the sea. Food is good although they don't have some authentic Goan dishes like Xacuti Cafreal or Chonak. Another thing that can be improved on is the rooms didn't have hot running water. Overall this is a very relaxing place to stay in away from the hustle and bustle of more tourists places like Panaji or Colva. Would surely recommend.
